Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the coordination and control of new products and processes (including biopolymers and fiber materials). This includes the generation and implementation of innovative product and process ideas from research to series production readiness for our molded packaging for hollow chocolate figures, drugstore articles, take-aways, home products and much more.
You lead or coordinate the specialist teams and accompany our production during the start-up of the new processes. This includes the close cooperation with the internal departments and external development partners / research institutes the creation and development of product specifications and certification processes are also part of your responsibilities
You will be actively involved in ensuring that in future all packaging at Chocal is created in accordance with the cradle-to-cradle principle, so that no waste is produced. Together with the Chocal team, you will use your skills to ensure that the entire product cycle, including raw material logistics, is mapped in a completely natural closed loop system.
Your Qualifications
You have successfully completed a degree with a focus on mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, you have completed a degree in the field of polymer physics / materials science.
You have experience in process development/optimization, ideally in the field of packaging and/or food industry
You are not afraid to openly address challenges and to tackle them together in a team by means of expertise, communication and assertiveness skills
Your way of working is characterized by reliability, independence and systematics, coupled with analytical competence and organizational talent
